The saying "nothing won't change if YOU don't make a change" is such a simple concept but it's not easy to execute.
A couple of years ago I desperately wanted to change my life.
I felt like I was in this viscous cycle of work, kids, chores & sleep. I felt exhausted and drained every single day.
The only bit of peace I had were on weekends, mainly Saturdays because Sunday was rep for the week.
Then the cycle would continue.
I felt cheated and lied to.
The "dream" that society tells us, is not all that it's cracked up to be.
I literally felt weak from the week.
I knew that the source of the problem was my job.
I got no joy, fulfillment or meaning from it. The thought of doing this job every day for the rest of my life made me want to cry.
But I didn't know how to change it.
I knew I wanted to do something I really loved... but what was that?
What was my passion? My dreams?
Do I start a new job? A new career? A business?
I had no idea what I wanted and if I was being honest with myself, I had lost me.
Somewhere along the journey of life, I lost myself... I lost Tanya... and I didn't know how to get her back.
All I had was this feeling within me that I am meant for more.
